Trim the Wick
Before each burn, trim the wood wick to about 1/8” – 1/4”. This helps prevent soot and ensures a clean, even flame.
First Burn = Most Important
Let the candle melt to the edges of the container on the first burn (usually 2–3 hours). This helps prevent tunneling and sets the stage for a longer-lasting candle.
Burn Time
Burn for no more than 4 hours at a time. This keeps the wick healthy and your candle safe.
Extinguish Safely
Gently blow out the flame or use a snuffer. Avoid using the lid to extinguish.
Re-center the Wick
After blowing it out, if needed, gently reposition the wick so it's centered and upright for the next burn.
Store Properly
Keep your candle away from direct sunlight and heat to preserve the scent and quality of the wax.
